Realization of life with a Uber driver

To maintain the feel of the talk I will not change the conversation into English.

I used to talk with anybody I meet anywhere to know new things of life, because life is the best teacher in the world. This is one such talk when I was travelling inside Delhi with the old driver of the Uber taxi.

Me: Bhai saab, aapke basse nahi hai kya ? Aap is umar main bhi taxi sala rahe hain.

Old Driver: hain na. sab settled hain. Beta MBA karke Job main settled hain aur uska shaadi bhi kar diya. Aur Beti Dentist hai , uska bhi shaadi kar diya.

Me: wow, aapne bahut parhaya apne basse ko, very good.

Old Driver: Ji sahib, hum ne apne pet kaat ke dono basso ko parhaya hain takein wo log humse assa zindagi jiye.

Me: Aap abhi bhi is umar main phir taxi kiyon sala rahe ho. Beta jab settled hain toh aap ghar baitho na.

Old driver: Nahi bhai saab. Ghar nahi baith paoonga. Waqt kaat ne ke liye taxi salata hoon. Paise ki jaroorat nahi hain. Teen floor kiraye main de rakha hain.

Me: kahan rehte ho?

Old Driver: Jaitpur. 50 gauge main khud ka makaan hain.

Me: taxi aapka ka khud ka hain?

Old Driver: Ji khud ka hain. Kiraye main taxi lunga toh jyada nahi basega. Pehle se Uber main kamai kam ho gaya hai saheb. Uber ka taxi pehle se jyada ho gaya hain. Trip kam milta hain.

Me: Beta bahu ke saaath ghar main toh bahut badiya life hain aapki. Ab toh araam karna sahiye aapko.

Old Driver: Nahi bhai saab. Beta ka job lagte hee uske office ke pass Gurgaon main usko ek Flat dilwa diya. Pehla installment maine bhar diya tha aur baki ka installment uske salary se kat gaya. Wo bahu ke saath wahi rehta hain. Humne usko bola tha ki jab dil karein wo humse mil kar jayien lekin wahi rahein apni flat main .

Me: (Surprised) Aisa bhai kiyon kiya aapne. Aur beti ?

Old Driver: Bhai sahib, dunya bahut matlabi hai aaj kaal. Shaadi ke baad Uske life main ek nayi larki(Bahu) ayee hain, wo log khus rahe , apni hisaab se zindagi jiye. Beti ko bhi Delhi main hee shaadi karwaya hain, atey rehte hain maa ke pass. Main ghar main kam rehta hoon, is liye jyada mulaqat nahi hota. Hum log sab khus hain aise.

Me: Kya baat hain bhai saab.

Old Driver: Dekhiye saheb, humne dunya dekha hain. Bahut logon ko dekha hain.  Main nahi saahta ki is umar main hum logon ko bhi apne basse  kus galat salat boley doosre logon jaisa. Un logon ko  bol diya hain ki tum log bhi abhi maa baap banogey, toh ab pata lagega maa baap kya hota hain. Wo log apni life banaye jaise humne banaya hain. Humne apna farz pura kara ,  wo log apna farz pura karein.Humko sirf Shaam ko do roti shakoon ka sahiye bas. Zindagi toh nikal hee gaya hain . Aur kya sahiye zindagi main saheb.

I was dumb founded, when I came back home and told my wife about this old driver, my wife told me he is such a forsighted person.
